Goodbye 2008

I can't believe that another year has gone by. It feels like everything has changed and nothing has changed. This seems like the perfect time to quickly look at some of the events of the year, both the highs and lows.

Highs

• Experienced the genius of Dexter for the first time (and second, and third).
• Had the most amazing vacation in Tulum ever.
• Had some great times with Marianne: Bodies Revealed, shopping, and Disneyland.
• Rediscovered the raw power of Oz.
• Downloaded Ms. Pacman onto my phone and became exponentially more awesome.
• Refined the qualities I'm looking for in a man. And found an outlet to search for Mr. Not-Horrible.
• Baby Miabella was born.
• Fell in love with Don Draper.
• Finally bought a Wii and became the most awesome person ever at Mario Kart.
• Traveled for work with Dyena & Laura
• Vince Vaughn

Lows

• Became annoyed with people who insist on taking pictures of themselves sleeping in on holidays when I have to work.
• Became annoyed with people in the bathroom.
• Became annoyed with my boss.
  
• Mourned the loss of good TV for far too long because of the writer's strike.
• Sprained my ankle and had to hop around for a month.
• Lost my work buddy.
• Vince Vaughn.

All in all, it was a great year! The good far outweighed the bad. I'm looking forward to an even better 2009!

And yes, this entire post is the equivalent of a TV clip show. Be glad it wasn't a very special episode about our changing bodies.
